BYU has placed fourth in the rankings of the top ten most high-strung schools. This ranking comes ultimately from
College Magazine. Their reasoning for this ranking is:
Brigham Young is high-strung because of its straight-edge nature. Its
strict honor code, modest form of dress and rules against drug and
alcohol only add to the stress.
But that is not the worst:
Not only can you not find drugs or alcohol, but you also can’t even buy caffeine on campus.
(They forgot to mention that beards are against the honor code too.) If BYU's honor code is a cause of stress, more colleges should be stressed out.
